We are continuing to run a series of workshops in Melton which are aimed at helping people grow and preserve more food at home! This week was a workshop on making pickles at Melton South Community Centre. We made:
🥒 Lacto-Fermented pickles with a salt brine (ready to eat in a couple of weeks)
🥬 A quick pickle with a vinegar pickling liquid (ready in less than a week)
🥕 An instant pickle, which was ready in just 20mins!

Thanks to the support of Melton Council which have enabled us to provide these at low cost.
