🏆 HIGHLY COMMENDED - yes, we had to make a new prize for this one!

There were just too many great photos in this year’s Animals of Gregory Photo Competition and this shot was simply too good not to recognise.

Congratulations to Emma Sutherland with “Which way to Rolleston mate?”

Emma spotted this fella slowly crossing the Blackwater–Rolleston Road at the 20 Mile and stopped to help him safely across. Instead, he decided to climb the signpost and pose for a photo! 📸

Thankfully, Emma was quick enough to capture this cracker of a shot before helping him on his way to the nearest trees.

A very worthy Highly Commended!

And we’re not finished yet…

🥈 Stay tuned tomorrow when we reveal our second-place winner!
