🌧West Coast Lawn Update 🌧️

schedule:
Monday – Rain
Tuesday – More rain
Wednesday – “Might clear up”… just kidding, rain
Thursday – Thinking about mowing
Friday – Still raining
Saturday – Explaining to customers why their lawn is now technically a rice paddy

At this point I’m considering adding “professional puddle maintenance” to my services 😅

Appreciate everyone’s patience — as soon as the weather gives me a break, I’ll be back out there turning jungles into lawns again 💪🌱

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working team member to join our growing business servicing homes across the West Coast.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and like being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Lawn mowing and edging
Garden maintenance and clean-ups
General yard work at residential properties
Communicating confidently and politely with customers
Following job instructions
Quoting and completing jobs
Work schedule:
Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday
Opportunity for up to 2 extra days during busy periods
Pay: negotiable for the right person
What we’re looking for:
Reliable and hard-working
Team player with a positive attitude
Good communication skills with customers and admin
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Able to track job details and pass information back to the admin team
Eye for detail and pride in finished work
Driver’s licence preferred (not essential)
What we provide:
Work vehicle
Fuel
All tools and machinery
Possibility of limited personal vehicle use (by request)

📅 Booking Update –

Over the winter months, we worked flexibly around the weather and travelled to whichever town had the best conditions on the day.

With the Christmas & New Year break almost behind us and the nicer weather returning, we’ve taken the opportunity to reshuffle our bookings so that each town now has set service days again.

As a result, all booking dates have changed, with some moved forward or back by up to a week. We’ve done our best to keep everyone as close as possible to their usual schedule and to minimise disruption.

Today marked the completion of a small roof replacement, effectively eliminating the problem of water pooling inside the house. A brief inspection quickly revealed the underlying cause of the issue. This problem has been rectified. Key steps included the
Removal of old tin ✅️
Remove old sarking ✅️
Applied new silversark and the installation of new tin 👌.
