Working Waterproofing Supervisor Wanted β€” Perth / Fremantle / Mandurah

Hi guys and girls, I’m looking for an experienced waterproofing supervisor, senior waterproofer, registered building practitioner, or registered building contractor to assist with strata planter box remediation works.

If you're willing to work hands-on with a small crew that would be great. The role may involve digging, grinding, substrate prep, crack repair, detailing, membrane work, drainage, reinstatement, QA photos and staged inspections.

Experience wanted in:

* external above-ground waterproofing
* planter boxes, balconies, decks or podium areas
* AS 4654
* NCC requirements as adopted in WA
* membrane systems such as Mapei, Gripset, Ardex or Sika
* terminations, fillets, penetrations, drains and protection layers
* remedial / strata works
* stage inspections and QA documentation

I run a small property maintenance and remediation business and want to make sure larger waterproofing scopes are structured correctly with proper supervision, documentation and compliance support.

This is not a request to lend a licence. I’m looking for a genuine working supervisor / technical lead who can help on the tools and help guide the work properly.

Open to hourly, day rate, project supervision, subcontractor collaboration, or longer-term arrangement.

Indicative range: $90–$130/hr ABN depending on experience and role. Higher rates considered for registered practitioners or formal supervision/sign-off responsibilities.

Message me with your experience, registration details if applicable, rates and availability.

Thank you πŸ€™

Casual ABN Subcontractor / Offsider Wanted β€” Heights, Rope Access, Tree Work & Property Maintenance

Hi guys and girls,

My names Dan, I'm a sole trader who started a little side business doing tree work, gardening, property maintenance etc I'm an IRATA L3, adv rigger, adv scaffolder, so working at heights is my jam, and I’m looking to build a small pool of reliable ABN subcontractors / casual offsiders to assist with varied work across Perth, Rockingham, Fremantle and Mandurah.

As the business is just starting out this is flexible project-based work, not a guaranteed full-time role. It would suit someone who already works casually, freelances, subcontracts, or does not need consistent 9–5 hours.

Work may include:

* working-at-heights jobs
* rope access support
* tree work / ground support
* strata maintenance
* planter box remediation
* soil removal and labouring
* grinding, prep work and cleanup
* garden and property maintenance
* tool handling and site setup
* general hands-on trade support

Minimum requirement:

* Working at Heights

Highly regarded:

* brickwork/waterproofing experience
* IRATA Rope Access Level 1
* white card
* first aid
* chainsaw / tree work experience
* rigging or scaffolding background
* EWP ticket
* trailer experience
* own basic PPE
* own transport
* public liability insurance

This would initially be subcontractor-style work, so an ABN will generally be required. I may look at employee arrangements later as the business grows.

The right person needs to be reliable, physically capable, safety-minded, comfortable working at heights, practical on site, and happy doing hard physical work when required.

Rates will vary depending on the job type, risk, tickets and experience.

Indicative rates:

* general labour / maintenance support: $45–$60/hr
* experienced heights offsider: $60–$80/hr
* tree work ground support: $60–$85/hr
* rope access Level 1 support: $75–$100/hr
* higher rates for more skilled or high-risk work where justified

Please message or email [email protected] with:

* your experience
* tickets / qualifications
* ABN status
* insurance status
* availability
* preferred rates
* where you are based

Thanks legends πŸ€™

There were so many dead branches hiding in there. We gave it a big cut back and refresh. Even removing the overhang from the next door neighbour's fence

What a great result from the team! The bougainvillea is now gone with today's focus on the clean up. So satisfying to see that build up of dirt and grime be washed away.
1. The cleared area
2. Working hard to pressure wash the wall and floor
3. A before (right) and after (left) comparison
4. Washing away the dirt, how satisfying!

Today's (and tomorrow's) job in Fremantle involves the removal of this 20 year old bougainvillea. We could have completed this in 1 day, however Sundays and a cafe next door meant we reduced the use of power tools and opted instead for manual tools.
Tomorrow will be removal of the waste and pressure washing away years of debris and gunk build up.
