Meter reading has been paused in the Greater Sydney region due to public health restrictions, with estimates used instead. Retailers must indicate this on your bill if this is the case.

Typically data from the same billing period from the year before is used. Estimated meter reads are reconciled at the next scheduled meter read, and your retailer will adjust your account.
