Just found about 3000 acres and the collaborative work they are doing in Yarra, Victoria to normalise food growing in the city.

Make the most of this great initiative. I planted natives on the verge during winter last year and haven't had to water them since!

We finally have our verge suitable native plant vouchers available for those people in Perth WA who are actively working on their verge projects this winter... contact us (PM this page to contact admin) with the details and we shall see how we can help.

The vouchers allow purchase of free endemic native and other verge suitable native tube stock from APACE WA & Australian Native Nursery for your areas soil type and conditions to ensure greater survival (plants suited to yoir sandy soils)....they can provide you specialist advice should you need..

These tubestock vouchers are made possible by the generous grant funding from by Planet Ark Environmental Foundation and Torrens University Australia Alumini Grant 2016.

To get involved and share your project ideas and questions for the group to help you with please join the group set up for this initiative at Community Verge Rejuvenation Projects (Australia/New Zealand)

Some seeds require warm temperatures to germinate successfully and, if you grow them in containers, you can…
