Why did the bird go to hospital? To get tweetment. Why am I dropping bad jokes? To counteract my increasing sentimentality.

My Dad was so graceful. I taught him how to hug, because he didn’t come from there, and I only saw him cry once, when I was 11 and my sister got diagnosed with childhood cancer. When he got older, he used to get all misty eyed all the time. I am so dumb. At the time, I thought his eyes had stopped working properly as he got older. It never occurred to me that he was nearly crying all the time. Then I got older. Then I got sentimental. Then I got misty-eyed all the time. It’s not physiological. Everything just…means more.

Tom and Gayle run the local locksmiths in Seymour, nine minutes from my rented fibro heaven I call home. I have a line-dancing championship/LYS fundraiser to attend soon, and I was looking to get my mirrorball trophy from ‘Dancing With The Delebrities’ taken from totally screwed to nice and spinkly (see before and after shot in the comments). I am broke at the moment, just waiting for the next series of ‘Paramedics’, so I was hoping to get a good deal; that way there wouldn’t be too many sacrifices at this week's supermarket shop. They didn’t charge me. At all.

It turns out Tom and Gayle are regular givers. Love Your Sister villagers. Afterwards, when Gayle wasn’t looking, I got a little misty eyed. I thought of my graceful father. He would thank Tom and Gayle properly. I hope I have done so here.
