Thank you to CFMEU Construction & General QLD/NT delegate, Damo for the great support this morning for our BERT sponsored visit to the Hutchinson’s Ozcare Development site at Newstead today. Having a yarn while sitting with workers at their lunch table is a relaxed and friendly way to introduce the Ron Monaghan Foundation and open up the conversation about prostate cancer. This quite often leads to questions and discussion about early detection and what that means. Today we talked about real stories of younger men (in their early forties) being diagnosed at advanced stages. Prostate cancer is far from the myth that it’s ‘an old man’s disease’!

Please call me if you'd like to join me one Tuesday. The class is from 10 until 12 and is held at Shailer Park, Queensland, Australia. There's no charge to attend.
