Where design meets influence

HAAUS.7 didn’t originally have a butler’s pantry, but we knew we had to find a way to squeeze one in!

So we got creative with the floorplan! We relocated the laundry to the garage, created a new laundry nook and completely transformed the old laundry into a beautiful butler’s pantry.

And what a difference it made! More storage, more bench space and somewhere to hide all the kitchen chaos. Sometimes it’s not about having more space, it’s about making better use of the space you already have!

It’s amazing what you can create when you rethink how a space is used!

We loved this sofa enough to choose it twice - once in HAAUS. 4 and then again for HAAUS. 7!
Then we had to try the performance boucle out for ourselves, we poured coffee on it. ☕️😅

The Marlow sofa from Castlery Australia brings together so many things we love in a living room: soft curves, beautiful bouclé texture and an inviting place to curl up and get comfortable.

Its curved silhouette creates a lovely focal point, while the textured fabric adds warmth and softness to the space. After loving the Marlow in our previous home, it was an easy decision to bring it into this one too. 🤎

The spill-resistant performance bouclé is another reason we love it, so naturally, we decided to put it to the coffee test.

Let’s just say the sofa handled it better than we did. Beautiful to look at and made to be lived on. That’s our kind of lounge.

Comment ‘teen’ for exact product details.

Colour drenching, but make it coastal. These were the instructions for this teenager’s bedroom: a minimal, coastal vibe. Nothing too busy, just a calm, beautiful space she could make their own.

So we used colour drenching, a design technique where the walls, skirting boards, doors and trims are painted in the same colour. Rather than breaking up the room with contrasting whites, it creates one seamless look that makes the space feel softer and more cohesive.

We kept the palette light and added texture to bring in that relaxed coastal feel without making the room look too beachy. Same room, completely different feel.

Summer is coming and the questions about our HAAUS.7 pool and alfresco are rolling in!

Space was tight in our alfresco, so we opted for a round dining table. It gives us plenty of seating without making the area feel overcrowded.

Our biggest tip when choosing outdoor furniture? Don’t just measure what fits. Think about how you’ll actually move around the space, how far chairs need to pull out and how you’ll use it when entertaining.

We also always look at durability! After using Bay Gallery | Premium Indoor & Outdoor Furniture in HAAUS.6 and seeing how well their furniture held up in harsh coastal conditions, they were an easy choice for HAAUS.7.
