Hello all,

The days are getting longer and the warmer weather is upon us.
Just a couple of tips before the weather warms right up,

Check your batteries are in good condition in your remote controller.

Make sure your filters and drains are clean.

Make sure there is no rubbish around the outdoor unit that will stop the air circulating across the coil.

Electrical hazards.
I have noticed whilst carrying out A/C maintenance's recently
that many clients electrical boards have had loose cable terminations in general power, lighting and A/C circuit breakers.
This can be the leading cause of equipment malfunction, internal cabling in the walls and roof becoming damaged and the possibility of fire hazards if not acted upon.

If you are looking at getting a service on your A/C or you would like an inspection on your meter box please do not hesitate to contact me so I can book you in.

A high wall split system maintenance is $125.00 + GST, a discount applies to multiple units.

A ducted system maintenance is $175.00 + GST, a discount applies for multiple units.

Welcome to the warmer weather

Summer is fast approaching, time to dust off the air conditioning units and get ready for the crazy hot weather they are predicting.
Since my recent post's I have been keeping busy with supplying, installing, servicing and maintaining domestic air conditioning, due to the greater workforce working from home.
Now is a good time to check your remote control batteries, filters and any rubbish accumulated around your outdoor unit.
Units that have not been maintained/serviced for sometime will be increasing your energy cost and shortening the life span of your equipment.
Electrical faults on units, especially outdoor units, can be very hazardous and sometimes can cause equipment damage or something more serious.
A hot joint (poorly terminated electrical cable) can cause sparks and any rubbish or dead grass around the unit could start a fire.

A service on a highwall split system is $75 + GST
A service on a ducted system is $115 + GST
A discount will apply for dwellings with multiple systems.

Hello all,

I hope this post finds everyone safe & well.

I am still carrying out my day to day duties and following the Covid 19 protocols.

Its time to dust off the cobwebs on the air conditioning units, looks like a cold snap is about to hit the Australian shores bringing very low temperatures all over.

Things to check:

Batteries in remotes are in good condition.

Filters are clean and not blocked with dust.

There is no accumulated rubbish, grass, weeds, etc around the outdoor unit.

If anyone requires assistance with any of the above I am only a phone call away.

Happy New Year to all,

Is everyone ready for these heat waves that are predicted for the East Coast.

Some old Air conditioners and some new ones may struggle in the extreme hot weather that is coming.

Make sure there is nothing blocking air flow to the back or the front off the outdoor unit, move rubbish, grass, etc as this could cause the unit to trip on high pressure.

If you have blinds and window coverings, be sure to close them as this will reduce heat transfer from the sun and allow the air conditioner to operate more efficiently.

Free water for the garden!!! Place a bucket under the A/C drain to water your garden, on hot days you A/C will produce between 2 - 3 litres per hour.

Hello again, I,m back!
It's been a very busy Summer and its shaping up to be a busy Winter as well.
How was that for a cold snap over the weekend, did anyone try and turn their air conditioner on to warm up and it thought it was still summer and was cooling only.
Here are a couple of things to check:
1. Is your remote/wall controller set on the correct settings.
2. Is the outdoor fan operating and is there a slight hum coming from inside the unit.
If you are looking at getting a service/maintenance on your air conditioner I am offering a special price of $85 for a high wall split or $115 for a ducted system.
I also have very competitive rates on supply and installation of new air conditioners.
