JOB ADVERT : Factory Leading Hand
We are a growing kitchen manufacturing company based in Smeaton Grange, specialising in high-quality custom cabinetry.
We are looking for an experienced Factory Leading Hand to oversee day-to-day production and lead our workshop team.
About the role;
You’ll be responsible for managing factory operations, ensuring jobs are completed on time, and maintaining quality and safety standards across the workshop.
Key responsibilities;
• Supervise and coordinate factory staff
• Manage production schedules and workflow
• Ensure quality control on all cabinetry and components
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
• Liaise with management, installers, and designers
• Monitor materials, stock, and equipment
What we’re looking for;
• Experience in kitchen/cabinet manufacturing
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of factory processes and machinery
• Ability to read plans and manage workflow
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable and hands-on attitude
