It was a pretty tough winter for the lawn, very little maintenance and love, plus my cylinder mower was out of action. But, warmer weather is well and truly on its way, and Reno season is just a few weeks away! Giddy up!

How good is PGR. 7 days growth and only got 1.5 catchers off the whole lawn, front and back! Lots of rain this week too, really hoping for some dry weather soon as there’s some w**ds that need to go!

Got a neat little 3 nozzle boom for my Silvan walk behind sprayer. Game changer for speeding up the application of liquid herbicides, insecticides and fertilisers. Great pressure all the way to the last drop 💧

Today I put down some Primo Maxx Plant Growth Regulator, with some Liquid iron. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be tackling a few little broadleaf w**ds in preparation for an application of Embargo pre emergent herbicide to keep those pesky winter w**ds away.

Haven’t shared much on the home lawn in a while. Since starting up my on Lawn Care business, my place probably hasn’t had the most tender love and care. Thankfully we’ve had great rain over the past 2 months which has really helped. Some regular granular applications, and a liquid feet every few weeks and that’s about it.

I just applied my first ever round of Primo Maxx by . Primo Maxx is a Plant Growth Regulator, it helps slow the vertical growth of the turf but at the same time promotes a healthy lateral growth to densify the leaf. Plant Growth Regulator is the perfect option for those people with a nice home patch, but who are a little time poor and can’t keep up with the mowing.

Little bit of fun in the backyard for a few weeks. 🏌🏼⛳️ A simple attempt at a home putting green. Currently sitting at about 8mm HOC, but hoping to bring it down gradually. It’s not real fast, but it is real fun!

The recent rain is certain to make keep it healthy. Going to have a crack at putting down some plant growth regulator this weekend, hopefully that will help slow the growth a little, but really help make the plant more dense.
