Bonjour!

Well it's been a long road to getting this bedside table finished but finally she's all done!! And believe me I may have given myself a big pat on the back lol......

So tell me which one you prefer.... I'd love to know, drop a comment and tell me if you wiggly have left the trim on or if your prefer the raised stencil.

Merci for being here and stay tuned as there's something new in the next project. And yes I will be changing the other bedside over but my brain needs a change and a break so we're doing something different tomorrow.

Bonjour!

So I was all set to finish waxing today when i looked at the edges of the bedside table and realised I forgot to paint them! 😱 don't ask me how I managed that but I did.

So to tie you over until tomorrow here's a little waxing of the drawer front. At least this was all done and ready for is new k**b.....

Well, that’s one way to ruin a Friday night... 🤬

🛠️ I DID A THING... AND NOW I NEED YOUR DESIGN EYES!

​This table was looking beautiful, but I just couldn’t shake the feeling that the faux-bamboo trim on the drawer front wasn't quite right. So... I grabbed my trusty pliers, got brave, and ripped it off! (Swipe to see the messy middle and the tiny brad nails I had to wrestle out).

​Now that it's off, I have a blank canvas. Because there is already so much gorgeous gold detailing on those turned legs, I'm strongly leaning toward Bondo-ing it, sanding it completely smooth, and keeping the drawer front flat and simple so it doesn't compete with the rest of the piece.

​But before I mix up the filler... what do you think?

2️⃣ Add a completely different, subtle texture or stencil.

Bonjour!

Tell me you’re a creative without telling me you’re a creative... 🫣😂

​I literally walked into the studio with one simple mission tonight: drop down my grey rug to protect the carpet. That was it. One job.

​Cut to a few hours later, and I’m standing back looking at a workspace that genuinely looks magazine-worthy to me! I completely reorganized the entire area, got my paint wall looking exactly how I wanted it, and fell head-first into total studio bliss. I just couldn't walk away when the vision hit!

​The canvas is clear, the tools are lined up, and I finally have my perfect sanctuary to just breathe and create. The workspace is officially sorted, which means it’s time to get messy! 🛠️🎨
