Do you have or know anyone that has an old car sitting around ?
Please think about donating it to the local SES unit for the members to practice their road crash rescue training.

***CAN YOU HELP? COULD YOUR OLD CAR SAVE A LIFE?***
Sunbury SES is one of 100+ road rescue SES units across the state.
Our highly skilled volunteers train regularly to ensure that our skills remain best practise. We rely on community donations of cars and other vehicles to train and practice on.

We are asking for donations of cars to help ensure our volunteers can provide the highest standard of rescue to those in our community and those who visit.

The car does not need to run and does not need to be in good condition. However, it DOES need to be able to roll on its wheels.

We can organise pickup and transport, or you can legally drive it to our Headquarters we can assist with you dropping it off!

Every bit of help means we can better serve and protect you and our community so if you know of a car that may be suitable, please get in touch.

It’s official. AMJ Climate Solutions is now eligible to apply the VEU rebate.
What that means is any gas heater or gas hot water unit is eligible to be disconnected and replaced with a new electric unit, Heat pump type. And we can apply the VEU discount to the quote. This also includes existing older split systems upgraded to newer more efficient split systems.

Special Announcement.
AMJ is currently in the process of applying to be an approved government rebate installer.
What this means is that once approved we can offer you the government incentives for changing from gas heating to electric heating. This includes split systems and ducted systems. And gas hot water to electric heat pump hot water systems.
And in other exciting news.
AMJ will be branching out to also include hot water system installations/changeovers to our business.
More to come.

To all our valued customers.
We are now fully booked for both installs and service/breakdown work this side of Christmas. We have skeleton staff available between Christmas and New Year, that is also booking up quickly. Full crews back on the 3rd for all installs. We might have opportunities to fit breakdowns in later in the afternoons if we get through our allocated jobs during the days.
Please be patient, leave messages and we will get back to everyone.

If you have been looking to do any volunteer work then here is your opportunity. The Sunbury SES unit are on the lookout for new recruits. You can be operational or non operational. They train you in everything you need to be competent to perform your duties. And you can give back to the community.
They are looking for day time responders as most members are back to work in the office now, so if that’s you please apply and go to the information evening.

As some of you know, and most don’t. I am an active operational volunteer at the Sunbury SES.
In the last 18 months due to Covid and lockdowns it has been hard to get out to do fund raisers, tin rattles and the good old Bunnings BBQ to raise much needed funds to support the operations and logistics needed to be an active unit. So if you can spare anything, small or large. It will really help keep the unit running to the high standards the community deserves from a volunteering organisation. Stay safe.

Every day, Sunburys dedicated SES volunteers make themselves available to respond to calls for help. We do this free of charge 24 hours a day, every day of the year!

But it is by no means free...

To keep an emergency service like Sunbury SES running, it takes tens of thousands of dollars and we can't do our normal fundraising to cover these costs at the moment.
