Optical Painting Solutions was established in 2014 and is a fully self-funded business, focusing and targetting commercial residential projects as well as childcare developments. At Optical Painting Solutions, it is not always about the profit, we like to invest our time in our loyal tradesmen and build up their careers, from training, all the way to owning their own business. .
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Painter/Decorator will lead the operation of further providing a high standard of painting and decoration across our QLD portfolio.
You will be responsible for:
- Organising and accessing the requirements for each individual project
- Managing stock levels for materials required to carry out work
- Supervising and coordinating other team members when additional support is required in larger projects
- Planning ahead, making sure projects are delivered on time and to a high-quality standard
- Ensuring you are doing your own quality control
- Ensure all damaged property and equipment is reported.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a strong confident communicator with a keen eye for detail. In addition, you will have the following skills and experiences:
- Trade qualification with a Cert III or equivalent (desirable)
- A minimal of 2/3 years' experience in Painting/Decorating
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and own vehicle required
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team or on your own
- Demonstrated ability to conduct minor repairs and maintenance
- Honest, Reliable, and Dependable with strong work ethics and morals
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment with Emotional Intelligence.
