How important is preparation? We think it’s critical to achieve a perfect finish.

Here Chad is doing a guest bedroom make over. He has applied one coat on the exposed brick wall, and is now spending considerable time prepping the walls, corners, gaps in the brickwork, wardrobes and ceiling.

Once the prep work is complete Chad will use a spray/back roll technique to applied the paint.

Colour chosen in this room is Snowy Mountain half on walls and he’s using quarter strength on ceiling and trims.

A fine example of how coatings can revive a space!
Here Chad has waterproofed and painted the brick work at the rear, removed and replaced, using 9mm Plywood, the infill around the stairs, and finally he applied a seamless floor product to the workshop floor. Not only has this worked improved how the space looks, it has added value to home.
Chad’s skill set is such that he can undertake building maintenance work, painting, coating, waterproofing, building storage compartments and many other related works. His attention to detail and his ability to find a solutions sets him apart as a painter.

A fine example of what coatings can do to revive a space.
Here Chad removed the infill around the stairs, replaced the old plasterboard with 9mm ply, he waterproofed and painted the brick walls to the rear of the space and he applied a ‘seamless floor product to the workshop floor.
Chad’s skill set is such that he can carry out a range of building, timber and surface restoration work. Chad’s eye for detail and his ability to find a solution means he can under take more than just painting/decorating/coating work.

The final stages of Haven Project are now complete.
Here are our last before and after shots. You’d swear those barn doors were swapped out for completely new ones!

Chad has taken time to focus on the detail of this job and that is why it looks so bloody good!

After completing the kitchen, the adjacent living space also needed an upgrade. The dado wall mouldings, timber entertainment unit, walls and ceilings were spray painted. The finish is almost glass like providing better light reflection which brighten the area beautifully.

BEFORE + AFTER..

What a difference a lick of paint, a lot of patience and a mountain of skill can make.

The owners are over the moon with this transformation.

Now onto the wall mouldings, living room Entertainment built-in with a few ceilings to finish the job.

Kitchen Reno Update:

Lead-light doors finished and what a difference it makes.
Painting a timber kitchen is both affordable and practical, especially if you are living in the home you’re renovating. Painting, as Chad has done, in sections allows for a continued use of the space. This family has young children and two working parents, it was essentially they were able to function in their home with minimal disruption and Chad has been able to provide that!
