We where lucky enough to do a house at Conondale which had crows ash floors through out.It was finished with waterbased polyurethane in a Matt finish.The boards using a solvent based polyurethane would have been yellow but with waterbased take on a nice soft tan colour We are currently sanding and coating timber floors and decks from $30 sqm and sand from Gympie to Burpengary and out to Kilcoy.Be sure to check out and like our page

Recent pine jobs that have been completed,the beauty of timber is that in most instances it doesnt matter how poor your timber floor looks with a bit of hard work what appears to be beyond hope can look great.
Floors like these generally cost between $35/$40 sqm.

Got a pool table and have no access for a forklift and cant find 6 uninjured backs,not a problem we will sand around your table.
Pianos and pool tables are a bit of a problem when you want to have your floor sanded,not only do you have to move them off the floor but getting back into place without scratching the floor would be a mission.If the table is ever moved it would be a relatively easy fix.

A nice old small board mixed hardwood floor we are doing this week,it’s a removal home by Wright Removals and these guys definitely do nice work,all the internal fittings have been replaced and we are sanding and coating using Bona Mega matt.The owners are painting the house room by room when they move in.Your average sized three bedroom house in this condition cost usually around $2000 to sand and apply three coats of polyurethane.Its takes between 3/4 days to complete.

This floor coated in Bona Matt water based came up a treat.After punching and cross cutting the floor it was puttied then sanded.The timber was crypress and there had been some water damage where the kitchen had been.Its not uncommon around wet areas but stands out more on lighter timbers
Your average house costs around $2000 to sand and apply three coats of waterbased finish.
