Hi there. This is for the lady who knows me who said my Southernwood ( at HealthBeat, Nambour) wasn't labelled correctly because it didn't look like hers at home. There are a few Artemesias that are similar. I can distinctly tell Southernwood just by the smell πŸ™‚. Anyhow it is definitely Southernwood, Artemesia aboratum. Please call me I'm happy to talk herbs any time. Here's some pics to compare to yours at homeπŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸŒΏπŸ’šπŸ‘ŒπŸ’―πŸ˜Š

Here's an indepth study of Calea zacatechichi, The Mexican dream herb.

Used traditionally to increase and enhance vivid dreaming fir ceremonial purposes.
It is also reputed to be an appetite stimulant and anti inflammatory.
More research needs to be done to confirm this but the above study is quite thorough.
In my garden it is an amazing beneficial insect attacting plant and an attractive screen plant with sweetly scented flowers. πŸ’šπŸ’›

Comfrey is loving the rain in South East Qld at the moment, make the most of it and the indoor weather by making a calming salve to have on hand 🌱🌿

In the face of all the nonsense that goes on these days, in my life at least, botanicals are the anchor. They are tangible, sometimes edible, entertaining, always. . . trustable. Comfrey comes up for me in this context. Paid my herbal dues yesterday crawling down a 100-foot row of Elecampane (Inula helenium), removing the field bind w**d and other undesirables, applying two and a third whellbarrowsfull of compost to the row, a last stimulation prior to their flowering phase. But going to bed, my knee was giving me the usual throb, so I reached up to the windowsill, got my trusty jar of comfrey salve, and lathered it on there, much to the dismay of the bedsheets I'm sure. The pain went away. Come morning, the knee had returned to its usual size. Now I'm set to dig comfrey! The 20% off sale is ending today, and there are many who have responded. They need their roots. Spring is the best time to plant. I want everyone to get the goods before spring is gone! Prices listed are the sales prices. Here's a picture of comfrey in the orchard and the inevitable link: https://strictlymedicinalseeds.com/product/comfrey-russian-live-root-cutting-bocking-14-cultivar-organic/

In stock at the moment. The aromatic shrub, Patchouli, used as a fragrance in perfume and essential oils, lovely to have 'hanging' around the home .
There's more than one reason to love this plant 🐝🌿🐝
