The right person will demonstrate the following qualities:

Capable of working with limited supervision and able to exercise initiative and judgement.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Sound knowledge of the use of hand tools, plant and equipment associated with manufacturing custom joinery and joinery components.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work within specified time frames.

The ability to be resourceful with materials.

Eye for detail, accuracy and precision.

Must be punctual and reliable.

Qualified Tradesperson/Glazier for Aluminium Window & Door Fabrication (More than one position avaialbale)

The position includes manufacture and installation of windows, doors, shower screens, robe doors, mirrors and all glass and glazing works.
• Experience in building, manufacturing, and/or glazing would be an advantage.
• Experienced working with power tools & the operation of automatic machinery.
• Hard working and dedicated to manufacturing to a high standard of quality.
• Ability to interpret production paperwork and competent with measurements.
• Fit & healthy with the ability to work in a team environment.

YARD PERSON/DELIVERIES – (PART-TIME)
We are looking for a fit and versatile person who can assist in all aspects of a busy window factory and joinery. Flexible hours negotiated with successful applicant.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, talented Administration Officer with a great attitude to join the Swan Hill Windows & Kitchens’ team in a part-time role. Applicants should be well presented and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities

This is an interactive role that involves building client relationships. Duties include, but not limited to:
• Greeting all clients with care and competence.
• Answer incoming telephone calls as required.
• Responding to e-mails and sales enquiries efficiently and effectively.
• Overseeing the operation and presentation of our showroom.
• Provide accurate processing of job sheet data entry, general computing administrative and clerical services, including filing.
• Providing support to the Accounts Manager.

Skills & Experience
• Proven administrative knowledge and experience.
• Have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Adaptable & capable of working outside the conventional work schedule when required.

YARD PERSON/DELIVERIES
We are looking for a fit and versatile person to join our team; someone who can help out in all aspects of a busy window factory and joinery. Flexible hours to be negotiated with successful applicant.

Skills & Experience:
• Ability to work unsupervised & use initiative.
• Must have good people skills.
• Working in a team & prioritizing workloads.
• Knowledge of the building industry would be an advantage but not necessary.

Duties include, but not limited to:
• Loading trucks & trailers with windows and delivering to building sites.
• Unloading supplier trucks and checking quality and quantity.
• Maintaining component stock levels in factory.
• General factory cleaning duties.
• A range of other factory, distribution and maintenance duties.

APPRENTICESHIP IN GLASS & GLAZING
This position involves learning all aspects of Aluminium Joinery and Glazing and presents an opportunity to gain trade qualifications.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualities:
• Be genuinely interested in a career in the Glass and Window Fabrication Industry.
• Be able to take direction and show initiative.
• Be punctual and reliable with an excellent work ethic.
• Committed to manufacturing to a high standard of quality.
