50 kWh of full off-grid solar power has been completed at our Melrose Winery project.

This system has enough power to run three family homes without even breaking a sweat.

The legend's over at Bicheno Solar and Electrical supplied, installed and powered up this extremely impressive system in under three days.

Extremely exciting time for our team here at Tasman Construction Group, with the arrival of our first largely customised portable housing unit landing on Australian soil.

After close to 12 months of working with our manufacturer's to create a high quality, low cost and aesthetically pleasing housing solution. We believe we have created one of the highest quality transportable houses on the market today.

We are extremely proud of our teams hard work and shared passion with every stage of this project so far, like sourcing high-quality cost effective materials, organising shipping and transport logistics all while working alongside the Australian Border Force to ensure all products exceeded Australia's quarantine and quality standards.

The whole team here at Tasman Construction Group can't wait to complete the final stages of setting up this unit so we are able to show case just how much dedication, care and passion, we as a team have put into designing and developing such an affordable, high-quality and elegant looking solution to the ever more fading Aussie dream of home ownership.

When we were approached by the owner of Gala estate in Cranbrook, Tasmania to help bring their vision of restoring and sharing more than 200 years of family history in Cranbrook and surrounds, it was such a privilege to bring that vision to life.

We were tasked to build a new building to house amenities and storage for the wine tasting tours that are to be based in the restored original church built by their ancestors in 1845, only concern for our client was that a new building next to the church would take away the beauty of this historic building.

The goal was to make this addition look as if it had been there as long as the original church, it also had to meet all current Australian building standards.

As we near completion, even with meeting the current Australian building standards we have still been able to maintain the look and feel of the 200 year's of history.

It's has been amazing to be apart of Gala's 200 year history, now for the family to continue to write the next 200 years.
