• Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces

• Selecting and prepa

ring paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives

• Applying paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays

• Hanging wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges

• Erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering

• Cleaning equipment and work areas
Education, Qualifications & Licenses

• Painter’s License, Service NSW
• Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) License, Service NSW
• White Card, Service NSW

➢ Extensive customer service experience within the Residential Building and Construction Industry
➢ Demonstrated experience as a licensed and insured painter
➢ Experienced in the engagement of Subcontractors for specialized works
➢ Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance: time, quality, cost and safety
➢ Developing and implementing coordinated work program for sites
➢ Coordinating labour resources and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
➢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
➢ Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and security policies and procedures
➢ Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
