We love giving you all the little tips & tricks we have learnt over the years when designing & renovating your spaces.

The often ignored room is the laundry and can usually become the dumping & storage room. When designed right, this can become a great, functional and stunning feature in the house when done right.

✨ When planning the space, think of everything you would put in the laundry. Washing machine, Dryer, Brooms, mops, dirty clothes, pet food, ironing board...and the list continues. Now imagine everything in this one room, where would you place this to make your life easier?

✨ The laundry is a great spot to put as much storage as you can. It's a room where you can build around so much. Have a think about the placement of the storage, will you get more if you put the dryer on top of the washing machine? Will long cupboards work better in your space?

✨ Having a bench in your laundry has so many benefits. This will be a perfect spot to fold clothes or even a tabletop ironing board.

✨ Add a rod for hanging clothes in the laundry. This is one of our favourite things to add to the laundry and is a GAME CHANGER, especially when we have those wet days. There are many ways you can add this.

✨ Lighting is very important in a Laundry, Try adding natural light as much as possible. It's a great way to bring life to a room.
