At the back of this lovely cottage in Ryde, a new timber deck will be shared between a new lounge room extension and a freestanding studio opposite. Both of these new structures will interpret the weatherboard feature of the existing house and the brickwork underneath. The relationship between the additions is further reinforced by the two big picturesque windows facing the garden.
