This is my Calm, for me it’s adding texture keeping things timeless!

Sometimes a small refresh is all that is needed, swapping a few pieces out from space to space, it’s a bit like bedding refreshes, swapping out rugs can definitely be a mood lifter!

Capturing and posting a moment this morning!

As I’ve seen so many posts on ig lately with text on their photos, trying to stop people from scrolling, but seriously why??!! let your photos do the talking I say, here’s a photo and a little video I thought would look nice on my feed, a little winter entryway refresh, if you like it hit like, if you don’t move on.. 👌 Why has sharing a little inspo of our homes become so hard, ahh the pressure honestly just post the pics.

I just don’t understand why we now need to feel pressure posting a couple of photos, I’ll put text on it if I feel it needs to be there, this morning I didn’t..

8am is by far my favorite timer setting, when the outside comes in however, not my favorite season, I’d much rather it be summer all year long.

Ahh the weather here lately, there’s been so much rain and then the sun peaks through, for a moment, it’s been so damp, I hope this season brings us a bit more sun ☀️

Easy DIY Pendant hack - done simply with a wall mate, cup hook and a linen pendant shade & diy pendant kit all from 🙌🏻

Because really who needs an electrician 💁‍♀️

Ooh and I forgot to mention these usb bulbs last for hours before they need to be recharged again 🙌🏻 and a big thanks to my friend .by.mel fir sharing these with me because they are a game changer 👌🥰

My DIY Upholstered Bedhead PART TWO 🤎

Are you loving these mocha curves?!!

Honestly, it didn’t take me that long to make, the hardest part was freehand drawing the curve, the rest was so much fun, I could seriously make these everyday.

Gosh guys sorry for the rushed look, We put the bedhead in place and I haven’t even styled it all properly, I’ve only had a chance to put this reel together as it’s been crazy busy with all the Reno stuff in our ensuite, but you get the idea right?!! 🙌🏻 I’ll definitely be showing more of this room styled, I can’t wait to create some wonderful winter looks in here very soon 👌

This bedhead is not only budget friendly, it’s renter friendly, lightweight, perfect for a stylist or anyone like me who loves moving things around, as I’m always styling for brands or just because you love this look!

The wadding was on sale at I got 2.6m for only $11 a metre, I spent $30 on the wadding Bargain 🙌🏻

The fabric I used is called Britta upholstery fabric in Mocha, it’s in the upholstery section
I have also used this fabric to make that striped lumbar on my bed, it was also on sale at 40% off for members only, it was $15 a metre I got 2.6m for this job, So all up to upholster it cost me $70 and a few staples.

Part 1 of my DIY curved bedhead is taking shape..

Creating Curves in all the right places.. and a little behind the scences mess we create when doing these DIY’s.

I’ve been wanting to try this for ages and today I finally jigsawed the shape out and got it into position. It’s rough around the edges right now, but I’m already obsessed with how much softer it makes the whole room feel.

I’m so excited to share with you part two, I’ll share all the fabric selection and the colour 🙌🏻 I promised I’d make it as simple as possible, so I hope this helps you Create your very own.

Celebrating a space that has finally come into its own.. Thought this post deserved a spot on my grid..

Thanks for all the love on this transformation so far, we will be transforming the back wall of our kitchen once the ensuite is finished.. this will be our New pantry and laundry in which I’m so excited to finally have 🙌🏻

We still have so many little details to finish off on our ensuite, I can’t wait to show you some progress on that soon..

I Refreshed our guest room today, as Dad is coming up and staying here for a few days, I can’t wait to spend some quality time with him this Mother’s Day weekend 🙌🏻

Nothing says “stay a while” like the Wide stripe quilt cover set, paired so beautifully with the terracotta cord velvet pillowcases, and popped the Coventry chenille throw, on for extra warmth, it’s relaxed, cosy, and made for slow mornings, I am hoping he has a few lovely sleep ins this weekend 👌

This quilt set is from the latest Neutral stripe collection and I am totally obsessed with the way it looks in this room 🤎🤍
