Shipping containers make incredible tiny homes.
They also sweat, echo, and trap heat like nothing else.

That's exactly why Sorbello Homes chose CORKON as the first layer on this build.

Before anything else goes in, cork goes on. A seamless spray layer across every surface, managing condensation, killing the acoustic resonance that makes bare metal containers so unliveable.

Then a second, thicker insulation layer on top for an efficient thermal break.

A garden house at a public school in Bondi Beach.
Not your typical Corkon project but one of our favourites.

Existing structure. Imperfect surfaces. A space that needed to breathe, regulate temperature, and actually last.

One seamless spray layer later, the whole interior transformed.

Natural cork texture on every wall. No gaps, no cold spots, no moisture risk. Just a space that finally works the way it should.

The secret to a perfect Corkon finish?
It has nothing to do with the spray.

It starts before you even pick up the gun.

Step 2 of a proper application: clean, dry surfaces. Every time, no exceptions.

Dust, grease, moisture... Anything left on the surface will compromise adhesion. And bad adhesion means gaps, whichmean thermal bridges.

Some vans get tested by weather.
Monty's got tested by all of it : Rain, freezing cold and even snow.

The kind of conditions that expose bad insulation in about five minutes : condensation everywhere, cold metal and road noise you can't escape.

His van? None of that.
Because what's behind the walls isn't just insulation. It's a real thermal break, one continuous layer, no gaps, doing its job no matter what's happening outside.

The result is a van that stays dry, stays quiet, and looks as good as it performs.

Sleeping area, warmth, comfort. Built for life on the road, whatever that road looks like.

The shell was raw metal. Uneven. Full of curves and tight corners.
Exactly where Corkon does its best work.
