Smartstone’s veined surfaces are manufactured using advanced technology to create the most natural looking surfaces available in engineered stone. Setting new industry standards in product responsibility, Smartstone recently introduced Ibrido new generation surfaces with an incredibly low – less than 28% – silica formulation and made from 56% recycled content.

Corian, is a solid surface material. Solid surface materials are basically 2/3rds ground up minerals (Bauxite) held together with 1/3rd acrylic binder. Think of it as artificial stone.

Corian is an amazing material to work with as it allows for seamless joins, a repairable surface, it is stain resistant, UV stable for outdoor settings, germ and virus resistant, it has translucent features for lighting effects, and the list goes on!
