Today we experienced a moment that will forever be part of our family’s story: we officially became Australian citizens 🇦🇺🤍
First and foremost, we thank God for carrying us through this almost 10-year journey in Australia. It has been years of hard work, sacrifices, challenges, homesickness, and growth.
One of the hardest sacrifices was being away from our children for three years + until we could build stability here. It was painful, difficult, and we faced many judgments along the way, but we never gave up on the future we dreamed of for our family.
When we decided to leave Brazil and start over in Sydney, we had to learn a new language, build a life from scratch, and earn credibility in a country where we were immigrants. It was not easy. But we persisted.
Today, looking back at everything we have achieved feels emotional. Being able to provide this life for our children, seeing them happy, safe, and living opportunities that once were only dreams for us… means everything.
This achievement is the result of our hard work, resilience, and perseverance. And although few people truly know everything we went through, we are deeply grateful for the family members and few special friends who supported us emotionally throughout this journey. 🤍
We do not usually share much of our personal lives here, but we felt it was important to show who is behind this Instagram: a family built with love, purpose, and hard work.
This citizenship means so much more than a document. It represents everything we overcame to get here.
