Well worth a visit to one of my recent Foster + Partners projects, Parkline Place, now that it's partially open above the new Sydney Metro Gadigal Station, working with the Foster & Cox Architecture executive teams.

Highlights in the sidelit, brise soleil-shuttered mezzanine lobby Civic Vision exhibition space include some stunning models and a video loop of the great man in his trademark black skivvy talking about his latest designs for the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial in St James Park, London as part of a new dialogue with the masterplan of John Nash, the Queen's legacy, her enduring marriage to her consort Prince Philip and her role as a unifying, constant figure for the Anglosphere & well beyond.

Civic Vision, Foster + Partners’ first Australian exhibition, opens at Parkline Place Sydney, showcasing five decades of global civic design.

Shalaby envisions a symphonic blend of city mobility that is seamless and integrated. "We’re facing a generational opportunity as Gen Z and Alpha grow up in a world of micro-mobility and ride-share programs, so it’s the right time for this", he says.
“They’re already open to it.”
This is largely the universal, on-demand polymodal model (further biomimetically synergised with Green Energy, AI-Big Data & Food ecosystems), informed by our TED Conferences-spread

First Nick Grimshaw, now his ex-partner has left the tecton building in short order.
Both feature in Bond movies, which says something of their peer status.
Having lived much of my adult life in & around his singular, bespoke buildings in London, Hong Kong & China (including working on an Alban Gate, London Wall phase), I above all, admire his exceptional range, from HiTech, to PoMo & back again, with an expressionist, DeCon-structive flurry.
Another giant of our field rests his tools.

Sir Terry Farrell, the UK’s leading architect-planner and postmodernist, has died aged 87

Ten key buildings by high-tech pioneer .
It's an honour to have worked on the Biomes Visitor Centre.
You can also see his influence in today.
In the filigree canopies, bridges, poles and bioponic biomes, right back to my student works, where my Ipswich Music School atrium that made its own generative music score, played by the occupants and the weather; echoes his Waterloo International Terminal.

Congratulations to Norman Foster on his 90th Birthday.
It's an honour to have helped lead his just-completing Parkline Place in Sydney, a state significant mixed use tower for Oxford-Investa, with Crown Estates.
