Hot Buttered Rum
Winter’s almost here but the backyard still gets used. That’s the difference. When you’ve got proper cover overhead and a bit of heat, it doesn’t matter what the weather’s doing. You’re still out there, enjoying the space we created for you.
INGREDIENTS
* 45ml dark rum
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 1 tablespoon brown sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
* 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
* Hot water
METHOD
1. Add butter, sugar and spices into a heatproof glass
2. Pour in rum and add boiling water to 1/2 full
3. Stir until everything melts together
4. Top up with cold water
5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick
Simple, rich, and built for cold nights; exactly the same as a great pergola setup!
