These stairs had a yucky cakey thick coating of a combination stain and varnish. The owners asked me to remove the coating and restain to@something similar to the flooring through the rest of their home. Finished off with some satin clear. So much better

This wallpaper has been up for over 30yrs. This rendered wall showed some cracking. Came across this when doing preparation for a refresh. What in the did a good job but not really repaired… is this tape?

Problem Surfaces: Peeling paint likely smoke stain
Fix: Scrape back loose coating. Apply Peel Stop. Fill . sand smooth. oil base undercoat. Two coats of acrylic ceiling paint.

So much better for this elderly clients long awaited new kitchen. Not the flashiest job but I was happy to see her happy.

Today I applied two coats of a water based Matt clear to help protect these amazing murals this school recently had commissioned by a mural artist. Graffiti not so much of a concern as damage from being a playground area and from sunlight. This product from Montana ticked a lot of boxes especially being compatible with acrylic lacquer spraypaint and far less toxic than other protective clears.

Refreshing of lines of an indoor sports centre at a large local private school. This project was completed sometime ago I’m just adding to my pages now. Bit late to the game with regular marketing .
Manufacturer of the vinyl flooring recommended Dulux WeatherMax as the correct product. Had my reservations and Dulux technical / trade aren’t much help with guidance for anything off spec. The lines have performed quite well. The yellow recently needed to be touched up and the white as that sport set up for netball and basketball gets the most use.

Metallics and textures are really having a moment and they are my very favourite to create with. Dark and moody bronzes, Gold hues and hand applications are a recipe for custom finishes to add luxury to surfaces. Love something you've seen.. ask me how I can recreate it for you!!

I’ve been quiet here. Too busy creating, not enough posting. I forget to share what I do day to day as a Master Painter and Decorator. Ooops

What really gets me energised and I like to show off is are paint effects. These sample examples show Three looks for Porters Rust paint. A luxe guilded rust texture similar to what I helped create at Cartier.
Two French wash looks and a mild burnished venetian plaster effect over a clients exisiting wall colour, half the sample board with a metallic wax.

I love paint effects. Anyone can paint. Not everyone can do magic finishes like I can. Totally customisable. Every surface unique.
