Tadelakt Sydney are artisan applicators of Maroccan Tadelakt -
Tadelakt lime-based plaster is the oldest and most prized Moroccan mortar in the world.Tadelakt is absolutely unique. It is the coating of the old Turkish hammams (steam houses) Riads and palaces of Morocco. The Tadelakt is worked and polished with pure olive soap to add to the shine, but perhaps even more important, it makes sure the

surface is left waterproof. Today in the world of quick, synthetic and cheap there are few plasterers who still practice the tradition of Tadelakt and few people who have the opportunity to touch , feel and appreciate this ancient Moroccan legend in their own homes.

Bringing the outside in .. the muted green of the Original Tadelakt benchtop seamlessly steps up to become the window sills, with your eyes being drawn past the black steel frames to pull this lush tropical backdrop in through space between. Three lofty curves of the handcrafted fireplace shooting up atop a floor of wood-chip sprouting a fern, from the carpet of stone, softened by grey veins that flow from the living room to the heart of the kitchen. Soft white curves of the Tadelakt island rise out of the floor to support its beautiful marble crown, the hub where family gather throughout their busy day, to grab a snack, prepare a feast or sip a relaxing red, as the sun sets on their oasis in the heart of Sydney’s East, just a stroll to the lapping waters of Rose bay.
