We've watched the approach to wellness spaces shift over the years, in fact, we've been at the core of the shift on a number of occasions.

We're happy to see that it’s no longer being treated as an add-on, it’s become a destination.

The spaces leading the way aren’t offering more treatments or filling rooms with equipment, they’re building experiences people actively seek out, travel for and return to.

Real immersion doesn’t come from a cold plunge, a steam room or any one single feature, it comes from how everything works together.

When guest journeys are clearly mapped, and operational flow is designed just as carefully as the environment itself, the result is something far more powerful than a typical wellness offering.

It becomes a place people plan to visit, and revisit.

Before wellness became a category, it was a design problem to solve.

One of our earliest projects in the space; Slow House Bondi, helped shape how we approach wellness environments today.

After reviewing over a dozen locations, we worked closely with the owners to refine the business model, define capacity and map out the treatments the space needed to support.

The real challenge wasn’t just designing a space, it was designing how it would work.
How guests move through it, how treatments connect, how the experience unfolds from start to finish.

That thinking has carried through into every wellness space we’ve helped deliver since, from recovery centres to spa environments and integrated hotel offerings.

Across all of them, one thing remains consistent:
Spaces that feel effortless to move through are the ones people come back to.

A compact footprint with a considered impact.

Designed to maximise shelf space and product visibility, the concept introduces sculptural sunglass displays with seamless curves and refined textured finishes.

Warm timber detailing and subtle debossed branding bring depth and tactility, angled LED elements and a feature sphere blade sign elevate the customer experience.

Custom joinery and layered lighting enhance the leather product range, creating warmth and focus within a constrained footprint. Despite its scale, the store delivers a strong sense of presence.

We were engaged to deliver the concept design, planning and store documentation for N**e Lucy’s Fortitude Valley location, an evolution of the brand’s existing concept being rolled out across Australia.

As the largest N**e Lucy store delivered to date, the project required careful planning to balance a larger footprint with a refined customer experience.

Key challenges included working within an existing site with varying floor levels, low ceilings in areas and adaptive reuse elements, while creating space for new product categories.

The result is a store that reflects N**e Lucy’s evolving retail presence, while maintaining the clarity and simplicity of the brand.
