HEAVENLY STEMS
This picture of a huge tree spreading its far reaching branches over a wide area is an analogy often used in depicting Jia 甲 Yang Wood.

Yi 乙 Yin Wood on the other hand is opposite in polarity. It is softer more flexible as an analogy of a creepier is used. As a creeper it likes to depend on the strength of Yang Wood to climb up to reach the sunlight.
