Lilyfield Living

Currently in development, this project adds valuable outdoor living space to a freestanding house on a magnificent sloping block in Sydney’s Inner West. Mature trees and a Northerly aspect were embraced in the design, producing a large outdoor covered split-level deck looking over lush garden areas. New stairs, judiciously located, resolve circulation routes in and through the house as well as providing direct side-access to the garden.

Drummoyne Apartment Living

This project involved the strip-out and total renovation of a 1960’s apartment. Existing spaces were generous but very tired. Working with the client, we reconfigured spaces including the bathroom, removing a large bath in favour of a classy frameless glass shower enclosure and specified high end fixtures & fittings. Brick-pattern high-gloss tiling and use of timber veneer on joinery, produced a finely textured luxurious feel to the bathroom. Vistas out through eucalyptus treetops from the shower area added another dimension to the serene feeling achieved.

Construction Imminent !
Part of the fit out for a top floor apartment in Drummoyne, the proposed design strips back the shell and reconfigures the layout for a more space-efficient design. High-end finishes such as Italian timber veneer, stone and mirrored cabinetry give a more intimate, contemporary feel.

Always a pleasure to deal with local business in Dulwich Hill and none more so than with Lyndal Gowland of Gowland Legal. We were asked by Lyndal to look at the new office space the company had leased next to Strawberry Fields Patisserie .... (which made for some extended client meetings !)
We provided space planning and furnishing advice to maximise look & feel as well as aesthetic appeal for the new offices. We wish them well in the new environment . Great location with great street-presence too !

VINTAGE 1970s & NOT A CRACK IN SIGHT
Astute purchase by a client of a fantastic late-1970s apartment in Drummyone. Great basic layout, spacious, large windows with lots of natural light and superb views into treetops and beyond to Sydney’s North Shore.
Interesting to see how much larger this apartment is than those being built today…..and not a crack in sight !
These good bones lead to a re-design which updates the services, lighting , kitchen & bathroom and brings a modern, contemporary feel to the apartment. Furniture layouts and space planning are always critical in apartment living and it was a pleasure to produce a design for a client who has been a fabulous patron and friend for many years. Work starting in early 2020.
