Bonsai Friday! Finally got around to photographing some of my trees to share starting with a splash of colour. I acquired this Bougainvillea in 2014 and have been training it into a ‘Bunjin’ style since. It literally flowers it’s head off most of the year and is a great addition to the collection.

Another success bringing together function, safety and tree sensitive design. This FRP material bridges over the street trees major roots while allowing air and water to filter through. The material has better grip, will last longer and conflict less than standard concrete designs. Working with the teams that actually install these structures is critical to the retention of healthy street trees.
