It’s a big day tomorrow for and as the final building inspection happens after a two year phased build that has certainly been one for the books! We would like to thank all our consultants, staff, subcontractors and suppliers who have gone the extra mile to bring this special project in Piketberg to completion.

It’s no secret that building in South Africa requires much more on-site supervision from architects than what we are used to providing in other countries that we have built in, however, we prefer it that way! We can modify the design based on inevitable contingencies such as material shortages, no-shows and good old fashioned whim. After an extraordinary heatwave last week The Voyager Stoep-en-Kuier and Flying Fig Garden Bistro in Piketberg has turned a corner with completion finally in sight.

Making an entrance! The wrap-around veranda of the new and is being erected… after quite a wait… but it’s being done painstakingly and perfectly by Louisco engineers, like the epic slasto and more or less every part of this special project when there has been no compromise! We look forward to its completion.
