I’ve been re-reading and looking for ways to have a package-free Xmas. Alongside plants and produce, I’ll be gifting things like this - goodies from and in jars from our local edible exchange.

I’ll probably eat all these before Xmas day and will need to go buy it all again, but that’s another story😆🤷‍♀️…

Just a sample of what can fit in a small space. This raised bed was made into a wicking bed, with a water reservoir at the bottom - plants can suck water up into their roots as they need it.

In this small space we have ⬇️
🥬Lettuce
🌻Sunflower
🌱Celery
🌿Leek
🥒Zucchini

As they are harvested, the soil is replenished and a new plant fills the space
