I run a small business offering mowing, whipper snipping, garden maintenance and small scale landscaping jobs. I live locally in Tamborine Village and enjoy being outdoors and doing all sorts of yard/garden work. I am able to offer:
- I have a Hustler Raptor zero swing ride-on lawn mower to cover large acreage yards as well a small residential lawns

ncil grade whipper snippers/line trimmer, hedge trimmers and pole saws
- Stihl chainsaw for log/wood chopping, log splitting & stacking
- Leaf blower and vacuum for clearing and mulching leaves
- Post hole diggers, garden forks, shovels & rakes
- Pruning & trimming secateurs
- Experience as a tree lopper/arborist so can do small-medium tree removals
- I am a fully licensed Bobcat & Excavator operator and have years of experience using loaders and excavators, skid steers and tipper trucks.
- I own a Mitsubishi Triton Ute and large 8 x 5 caged trailer for rubbish removal/green waste tip runs
- I hold an MC license and full, clean QLD drivers license.
- ABN Registered and Insured.
- Pay ID, Credit Card and Cash payments accepted

Rain, rain, and more rain!

This ongoing wet weather has been making it difficult for us to perform many of our usual mowing and gardening services. We’re doing our best to prioritize all our regular bookings so that we won’t compromise your lawns and gardens or our team’s health and safety.

These conditions also affect our tools and equipment, which can lead to significant costs if they are damaged. As a result, we may need to reschedule some regular services to ensure we can continue delivering quality care to your lawns & gardens.

With the recent storms and torrential rain, combined with humidity and hot weather, lawns are going to start growing rapidly! Even if grass is only slightly damp, and the ground is not too wet, mowing the day after rain can be done.

GARDENING TIPS FOR SPRING

Spring is the most active time to be in the garden. Using all the pent-up energy we’ve accrued over winter, heading outdoors to clean out and prepare our garden beds, fertilize lawns and do a little pruning and moving, so you start the growing season off right.

Here are some tips to launch the spring season successfully.

Feed your plants and lawns - Plants need feeding as they burst into growth. Apply organic-based general fertilisers to garden beds but for pots, use liquid feeds or slow-release products. Lawns need specialised, high-nitrogen fertilisers.

Look after the lawn - Now's the time to renovate the lawn or lay a new one.

Get planting - It's planting season too, a good time to make over problem areas or plant fast-growing shade trees.

Renew your mulch - After fertilising garden beds, renew mulch cover before the heat of summer.

Take care of your potted plants - Top up potting mix and re-pot overgrown plants into larger containers. Houseplants need TLC, so trim and tidy, flush the soil thoroughly with water (or re-pot), then fertilise and spray with PestOil.

Get your watering in order - Check irrigation systems and reprogram timers as temperatures rise.

Prune flowering plants - Prune camellias to shape and tip-prune other winter/early spring-flowering plants as they finish blooming.

MOW YOUR LAWN HIGH IN WINTER!

Your lawn will grow more slowly over winter than it has during summer. You will still need to mow it occasionally, but make sure you don't cut it as short as you would during warmer months. Remember your lawn is likely dormant during this time so let CSP Mowing & Maintenance take care of it so it's stays healthy and green all year long.

Did you know that letting your lawn grow too long is actually bad for it?

If the blade of the lawn exceeds 6 cm, the grass is too high and needs to be mown immediately. Long grass prevent sunlight penetrating through to the surface of the turf. This may cause the lower portions of the grass blades to turn brown.

Mowing your lawn regularly is important to maintain the health and longevity of the lawn. It allows the grass to develop new growth and enables air-circulation to avoid moisture build-up on the surface and in the root system. This prevents the lawn contracting any harmful diseases.

Did you know that in the hottest months of the year, your lawn is under stress? Stress from the heat, stress from lack of water, stress from harsh sunlight, and, if you’re unlucky, stress from weeds and pests.

Mowing in summer is all about alleviating this pressure. You still need to mow in summer even though your lawn won’t grow as much as it did earlier in the year.

Mowing in summer should aim to help lawns with the summer stresses, and, if done properly, should help to keep guide your lawn safely through the hot days. Mow incorrectly in summer and you will find that you’re causing more harm to your lawn than good.
