Nursery Assistant / General Hand Wanted

Valley Industries is seeking an experienced nursery assistant to work in our Nature’s Care Nursery business.

Nature’s Care Nursery caters for all garden needs, with a range of plants, seedlings, trees and pots, as well as stocking bulk mulches, soil mixes and firewood.

We are seeking someone with retail nursery experience to work at Nature’s Care Nursery, whilst also helping out across other Valley Industries’ businesses such as timber, paper shredding, clothes recycling, mowing and landscaping. The role will generally do 2-3 days a week in Nature’s Care Nursery, with the rest of the week in other businesses. More time may be spent in the Nursery to cover periods of leave. On-the-job training will be provided for work outside of the Nursery.

As a disability employer, you will work alongside people with a disability, helping to empower them to reach their full potential.
