Garden design for a client this week.
Project: Replace a lawn with a native garden!
Removal of lawn no chemicals (done!)
Adding mulch and native flora, such as kangaroo paws, waratah's, grevillea's and flannel flowers.
All should be ready and planted by springtime.

Found this extremely heavy ball while working on a garden in Randwick. Possibly iron and very rusty. It was suggested possibly a cannonball. Does anyone know?

Almost done…. On this property at Mooney Mooney, I carried out detailed weeding, root removal , and vegetation clearing, mostly by hand and shovel only, to uncover a set of old stone steps leading down the steep cliff to the water. The process took several days, but the steps are now fully exposed. Then a bit of gurneying today too. Next, we’ll begin constructing additional wooden steps to improve access!

I have been working on a big priority at Mooney Moony and the garden also extends down the side of the cliff. The last 2 days I have been working on revealing some old secret steps that have been long forgotten.

A recent job was turning old unused garden beds to a low maintenance dried creek bed landscape!

Now waiting for the native plants that have been planted to do their thing!

Billy buttons, golden buttons, trigger plants, grevillia and low lying tea trees.

This beautiful diamond python is fast asleep while I’m working away… 🐍💚
