Today we celebrate my big sister Michelle.
Thank you for being my big sister and giving me my nickname, without Michelle , the names
‘Bird brain’, ‘birdboy’, and ‘Birdie, Birdie num num’ would never have been invented. Kathy and Michelles name calling created ‘Birdie’ and hence Birdies Nest Nursery was borne.
Michelle may not have worked with dad and I at the nursery but she still loved her plants. Each time she came down to visit us all, the return trip always had a bootfull of plants for her garden. Dad and I used to joke that she had enough stock to set up her own nursery.
Today also marks the 35th anniversary of Kathys passing. It will now be the day that they will be re-united along with mum and dad.
Michelle raised 4 loving sons who have grown up into young men who are loving and respectful towards their partners and families.
Michelle loved her boys Jon, Chris, Daniel and Michael and their partners and was thrilled when she became a grandmother 6 times over and was very proud of all of you.
We will all miss you very much
