THE MURAL THAT NEVER WAS!
UNFINSHED, AND ...well.... gone.

Thats what I like to call it.
It was a black and white, wrap around mural in a pizza shop at foresters Beach. The theme was all Italian people, icons and places.
I was working hard on it for a long time, then one day the owner sent me a message saying,
"Sorry, I've gone under, a new owner is taking over the lease and it's all being painted over".
A few days later it was all gone.

I didn't get paid either....

So, all I have to show for it are some progress pics of it all half done. I haven't wanted to share the photos, I've been holding onto them for almost a year. But even though they aren't very good, I figure I should share them anyway.
I can say I did get alot out of this experience. I'm a beginner at all this so I got lots of practice in this painting style, experience painting like this in public, and I've learned that I need to start charging a deposit. Lol

This home in Blackwall, Central Coast NSW needed a freshen up. I painted all ceilings, walls and woodwork, complete with a full colour change.
My client decided she wanted to go with the same colour scheme I used in a previous job that I had recently completed. The colours were taubmans "Twill" in Dulux Wash and Wear low sheen on the walls and "lexicon quarter" ceiling flat on all ceilings and Lexicon quarter semi gloss enamel on all skirts, doors, door frames, windows frames and wardrobe doors.

Been a while! But I thought to share a nice little job I did last week. This unit in Brooker Bay Central coast NSW, was recently purchased and needed a fresh paint job to brighten it up a bit before the new owner moved in.
The colour I used on the walls is a taubmans colour called "Twill". However, i used Dulux wash and wear and it came up looking great.
I painted the woodwork to match the white of the ceiling which is a colour scheme I think looks really great. This client will also be having new flooring going in which I am sure will make it look amazing. Here are the before and after pictures!

I painted this sunset mural on a wall in a small beauty salon. A mural is a great conversation starter and a good attraction for your business!

I CANNOT BELIEVE WE WON THE BIG ONE! i feel so proud of my painters and myself. Greatful to so so many supportive people in my industry and just absolutely humbled.

and the BIG one, MASTER PAINTER OF THE YEAR!!!!!

So it was my apprentices 19th birthday the other day so i decided to print off his first major paint spill onto canvas so he can remember it forever! Thew in some new tools and a Makita stereo aswell.
Happy Birthday Ben Faulkner! Haha

Here is the latest major project that Vixen painters have been working tirelessly on! Its a beautiful original Heritage listed property on flinders street in Kent town
we have spent weeks bringing this baby to life. We have re coated everything multiple times and picked out all the details. So many hours of tedeous brush strokes and so much patience.
This was such a challenge and one im up for again and again. I am so proud of my painters and myself.
This job is now up for Best Heritage restoration and Best exterior repaint at this years Master Painters Awards.
My amazing crew Andi Keil Kelly Jade King Ben Faulkner and Josh Wilkinson have worked so hard and im proud to call them Vixen Painters!
