Something a little different for Mother’s Day

Yesterday we hosted a floral wire art workshop in Theodore with the extremely talented Ruth McAllister. We were very honoured she travelled so far to teach. Not only has she the talent but encourages rural women to connect through art, conversations, laughter and tears.

We were surrounded by a group of women of similar minds, we doubted ourselves to create something of the beauty she displayed but she kept reiterating there are ‘no failures’. I was reminded this morning of this, with a note and small display of the leftovers from the workshop, as pictured.

We would love to thank all our participants who also travelled many miles as well.
I was particularly lucky to have many of my loved friends attend.

Mother’s Day is almost here

We had the utmost pleasure yesterday, tutoring the ladies and gentleman from Moura Garden lovers. They all made a rustic flower on a stake, for their gardens.
