Murray Haven is back on line. Stage 1 is now complete and Stage 2 is underway. Lots of upcoming events to be enjoyed by the Murray Haven Community including a sausage sizzle on Thursday April 25th Anzac Day, a bus trip to Corowa Chocolate and Whiskey Factory on 16th a roast pork dinner on the 30th May. Spinning wheel and Footy Tipping also a popular event at the Thursday Happy hour from 5pm onwards in the Community Rooms.

Please be advised that all social areas, pool and hall, are closed in line with health and safety regulations.
It is also advised that we all self isolate where reasonably able, so we can beat Covid-19 and return to normal.

: The entire state of NSW is now facing a major electricity supply crisis due to the bushfires.

Two electricity substations have been affected by fire in the Snowy Mountains region, and we’ve been isolated from Victoria’s backup supply.

People right across the state are being warned to expect potential power ‘brown outs’, and are being urged to reduce unnecessary power usage.

“Have just lost transmission lines in snowy region. Asking everyone to reduce unnecessary electricity usage. Please turn off pool pumps, setting air conditioners to 24 or 25 degrees, switching off lights and appliances in unoccupied rooms, and avoid using washing machines, dishwashers, and dryers.” - NSW Minister for Energy Matt Kean
