When we launched Rural Built Co, it was about building something that reflects our family; how we treat people, how we work, and what we’re proud to put our name on.
So here’s the honest update: we’re no longer part of R&F Steel Buildings.
We stepped into that relationship believing we were joining a “family” with shared values. The reality didn’t match what we were led to expect. The exit has been unnecessarily hard, and we’ve had to take the hard road to protect what matters to us.
But we’ve grown through it, fast. We’ve learned what we’re made of, what we won’t compromise on, and how important it is to stay aligned with your own standards.
And we’ve also been reminded of where we’re truly in our element: on rural properties, building practical, good-looking infrastructure that makes life easier for the people who use it every day.
Now that we’re independent, we have the freedom to design, supply and build the best-fit solution for each client; not a one-size-fits-all product. Our partnerships with other shed manufacturers give us more flexibility, better options, and better outcomes; and that’s exactly how we want to operate.
Thanks for backing us. We’re here, we’re focused, and we’re just getting started.
