Ross Grundy Floor Sanding & Polishing, is a small family run business based in (Westbrook) Toowoomba servicing all areas of Queensland.
For over 15 years we have provided services to rural and remote QLD. If you are someone who loves the country and travel isn’t a worry then this is a perfect career for you. We specialise in all aspects of floor covering and finishing with sanding and polishing as our main suit. Solid timber flooring, decking to specialist work such as installation and repair of timber, parquetry, vinyl, hybrid and concrete polishing. All of which you will learn and experience whilst working for us. No experience necessary but a willingness to learn and travel is a necessity.

To be successful you will need the following:

* White Card
* Basic knowledge of hand tools
* Commitment and enthusiasm
* Genuine interest in floor covering & finishing
* Ability to work away from home
* Strong work ethic
* 100% Pride in your work is a must.

Preferred but not necessary for apprenticeship depending on age:
* Drivers licence
* Own vehicle
(Labourer or Mature age apprentice must have these things)
Please include a cover letter with your application demonstrating how you meet the above criteria also including your hobbies and why you would like to start a career with us. There will be a 3 month paid probation period for apprentices to be sure this position suits you.

Out with the old step and in with the new.

The joys of not knowing what’s under the carpet. These steps were in poor condition with not much support holding it together. So out they come and in with the new. See the next post for the end result 👍.
