All of our frames – including our in-store ready mades – are handmade locally in Townsville by our experienced framers. All systems go. Artist's canvases professionally stretched and Pre-Float framed using only the best materials in market. For anyone not familiar - these canvases are made to be removable so artists can paint and insert again once the art is complete.
Our prototypes are available in store to purchase - marked down 20% in 30x30 and 60x60 a range of colours.

Online you can now order 3 colour options and 5 sizes ranging from 30x30 up to 100x100. We also take custom orders for sizes not included on our website www.townsvilleartandframing.com.au

We will soon be able to post/deliver with packaging but for the moment it is click and collect locally. Production times are 2-4 days so fast turnaround around 😉

We are excited to announce that our pre-float framed canvases are now available online to order. To celebrate we have discounted all of our prototype builds and made the available for purchase in store.

Canvas is 12oz triple-primed duck cotton over kiln-dried Australian hoop pine stretcher bars, so it holds its shape and won't sag. In-store there are 2 sizes and a range of frame mouldings.

Online frames are made using Victorian Ash, genuine Australian hardwood, in Oak stain, Natural, or Black stain. Five sizes, 30×30cm up to 100×100cm available. Custom orders by request.

We have been working on something exciting in the workshop in collaboration with a few local artists. As part of a sister brand launch we will be offering ready-made float frame canvases. While we have been testing the best mouldings, colours etc. we have narrowed it down to 4 and hoping to get some feedback from the public. Mainly whether there is demand for the whitewash (the second from the left). Have your say in the comments, all feedback welcome.
