OWN YOUR OWN HOME WITH NO DEPOSIT !
Saving money for a deposit can be the hardest part of buying or building your own first home. With NO Deposit First Homes, you don't have to. If you're over the age of 18, an Australian resident, have never owned your own home before, are employed and have at least a six month rental history - you're eligible.
Here's how it works:
NO DEPOSIT FIRST HOMES use Yellow Brick Road (YBR) as our mortgage broker. All rates are market price and the finance is through a choice of 32 lenders including the big four. Working with YBR, we take your financial snapshot.
If you're eligible, NO DEPOSIT FIRST HOMES then contribute up to $15,000 to the QLD Govt. first home owners grant of $20,000 - meaning you now have a deposit of up to $35,000. The $15,000 is a gift to you, not a loan. It means the builder takes less of a mark up on the final home, that's how it works, it's a quantitative model.
From there you just decide where you would like to live and as long as the land and home together as a package are within your budget, you're away.
