A Pool left alone in winter is an expensive invoice to come in Spring.

Harsh? Maybe.
True? Absolutely!

We get it, you aren’t using the pool like you usually do. But trust us. We see more green pool recoveries in September than there are potholes after a week of rain on the Central Coast 🫠

And we’ll prove why.

We’ve put together a quick guide on winter pool care, including what to do, what not to do and why “we’ll deal with it later” isn’t always the best strategy.

And that’s a wrap 👏

The Maytronics Dolphin Liberty 400 we donated to this year’s Cancer Council fundraiser has officially found its new home.

After some competitive bidding, the hammer came down at an impressive $2,000 💙

Congratulations to the lucky new owner.

Not only did they score themselves one very capable robotic pool cleaner, they also helped support a cause that impacts so many families.

Safe to say this little robot has done some good work before it even touched a pool 🤖

Many of our customers know that when Andrew isn’t talking pools, equipment or water chemistry, he’s usually talking about this old girl 👀

After 3 years of restoring this 1954 Ford F100 in any spare time he had, from the ground up, she’s finally back on the road 🫶🏼

Safe to say we’re all pretty excited about it. Andrew especially. In fact, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to convince him to drive anything else 😅

So if you happen to see this truck cruising around the Coast, parked at a job site or sitting in your driveway one day, that’s why.

We’ll even be adding some old-school Splash’s signwriting to the back window soon to suit the era of the truck.

It’s also a pretty good reminder that attention to detail matters. Whether it’s bringing a 70-year-old truck back to life or looking after your pool, the little things add up.

For now though, we’re just happy to see years of hard work finally paying off 💙
