Jaxons room completion....well almost. I'M STILL waiting for Dan to install wardrobes 🙄🙄🙄 his BYE this weekend from sport magically turned into a game weekend and now hes enjoying his mothers day relaxing 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ and now my wardrobes are non existent 🙃 I swear anyone would think it was fathers day 🙈 but he did say the entire internal of our house will be complete in 4 weeks, that was 2 weeks ago 🤣😂 so I'm holding him to it and plan to whine until its complete 🥳 I'll reveal this magic completion in 2 weeks time lol 🤣 But brought myself a home starter kit with Ryobi this week and put Jaxons pictures up and his medals with my new drill 😍 shelving still needs to be put up but the cutting saw dissapeared when I went to use it 🤦🏽‍♀️ but I'm gonna start doing little bits n pieces around the rest of the house since I got new tools 🥳 YAY ME! I'm now a lil drill obsessed so watch this space 😏🤫

Carter's Room is almost complete, a few more lil additions and ill be happy. Shelving for medals and trophys need to be put up, lights around the ceiling and inbuilt wardrobes to be done but this is basically his new santuarary. Every piece of furniture or deco was selected for him based on countless discussions about his dream bedroom over the years. Safe to say he loves it and now its his and Ryders favourite room in the house.

Jaxons room I'm still waiting on a few important pieces but should be complete in the next week aswell. But naturally hasnt stopped him from hybernating in there lol.

EDIT: Purchase's and locations. Majority we're brought online with a 2 week delivery wait give or take but it mean't I didnt have to drive around collecting stuff and delivery is cheaper then petrol 🤣

Furniture building, I made the boys help me put together every single piece of furniture item with me and I must say the did a pretty good job.....just left me with ALOT of boxes to dispose of. Beds, desk, side table draws, chairs. Then the set up their tvs, xbox and ps5's all came down to them. Hubby put up their blinds for us and the boys moved straight in. We still have walldrobes fit out to install this weekend and some decorating items to arrive but its all coming together nicely. Then I will get my theatre room back and more decorating and finding the perfect couch hunt begins 🤣👌🏽

Please note if you know you need items in advance I highly suggest waiting for sales to have some cash and shopping around as majority of places will price match or price beat, I mean curtains alone can cost a fortune but if you become a VIP at spotlight you can save upto 50% on purchases (just by being a member and it cost nothing) and they always have great sales on throw blankets, sheets, pillows, cusions etc which is great when decorating. Boys desk & chairs we got free shipping on (the shipping cost was estimated to be more expensive then the items purchased so we saved close to $500) and just waiting on end of year stock clearences or black friday sales on tvs and dishwashers, washing machines saved us alot specially when your furnishing an entire house every bargain helps 😊👌🏽

In honour of my baby boys birthday (Jax who turns 11 tomorrow) I figured ill start dropping slowly how I put together their dream bedroom. Starting with their feature walls, design choose for Jaxon was soccer IYKYK and design for Carter was Basketball which is all self explanatory really 😂 Peel & Stick wall paper custom design were selected & ordered from Fotowall on Etsy along with name designs. Took roughly 3 weeks to arrive and what can I say outside BOYS LOVE THEM!!!!!

And as promised hubby set me up a gym in the garage! It was a MUST after having to redesign the house and turn the original gym into another bedroom for these extra 2 babies no one planned for in the original house design 🤣 but YAY for me to be able to work out between kid naps and crazy schedules. Mirrors, final paint coat on ceiling are still to go up along with tv and sound system. Dan & the boys had fun testing out equipment and him giving them safety lessons on the way. He managed to also lift the paint on the flooring and finished the front doorway window 👌🏽 and next drop will be on the boys rooms which Ive been working on for the last week. A few more pieces and they will also are complete 🥳

Boys rooms have been carpeted 🫶🏽 🥳 okay so its not the original colour we choose or wanted but honestly I couldnt be bothered with getting them to lift it, sending them away and getting them back to install again so I was like WHATEVER it works 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️😂 its bedrooms so its completely fine and tbh ill probably change out my bedroom carpet to the same colour lol. Also got the hallwall panted and a few walls with another door up so productive day 💯

Goodbye to the red door 👋🏽 and hello office. Today the red door was removed and the fancy glass, pin code paded door with camera was installed.....its abit futurama but the boys will love it. Alot was achieved in the main house with walls going up, door frames, ceilings and the new door. Ill do a walk threw tomorrow morning before we get kicked out again 😂😂😂 6 days until Chrismas.....crazy!

Daniel built our rangehood cover out, the tapware and handles for the kitchen arrived and Dan installed. I'm obsessed with my dual pull down mixer spray tap. As a family of 6 I have certain non negotiables and sink size and tapware are it. I literally cannot have a small sink with all the big pots I use with sh*tty little taps. Bonus we found them in Antique Brass colour thank to Buildmat 😍 house outside also got painted, walls are up in boys rooms, basketball court walls have been bricked and driveway prepped. Crazy week with more work accomplished fingers crossed for a big weekend.

Marmo oro benches in 40mm from Advanced Stone, I love love love it. Originally we were going to go with one identical as the bathrooms but the install times would've been early next year and we had no interest in waiting so we changed up a few things and settled on a different look. Also got dirty with kicking down the popcorn ceiling from the 70's and boom more progress done! 🙌🏽😉
